Maybach Exelero Photos, images, pictures and wallpapers. The Maybach Exelero is a high-performance sports car designed and built by German luxury car manufacturer Maybach, and presented in May 2005 in Berlin, Germany. The 700 hp (SAE) (514 kW) two-seater with a bi-turbo V12 engine is a one-off design commissioned by Fulda Tyres. Fulda is using this car as a reference vehicle to test a new generation of wide tires. The German luxury car manufacturer created the one-off model as a modern interpretation of its legendary streamlined sportscar from the 1930s. There are various allusions to the historical predecessor, which was likewise based on a powerful Maybach automobile, in this case the Maybach SW 38, and was also used by Fulda for tire testing.

Lamborghini Estoque concept car is a four-door sedan that was introduced at the 2008 Paris Motor Show. The Estoque is the first front-engine vehicle by Lamborghini since the LM002 utility vehicle. Despite being classed as a concept car, the Estoque is being seriously considered for production. It currently houses a 5.2 litre V10 engine, although there has been speculation that this could be replaced by a V12, V8, or possibly even a hybrid or turbo-diesel engine (as suggested by Lamborghini's Brand Director, Manfred Fitzgerald). As with other Lamborghinis, the Estoque derives its name from bullfighting. An estoque is a type of sword traditionally used by matadors.

In terms of practicality, the rear seats can be raised in the session so as to create a second large cargo area in the rear for passenger use. The rear seats are also equipped with an innovative system "dive-down" which allows their full killing them disappear into the floor with a single movement, instantly creating a surface load completely flat.

2006 Honda Civic

The carrying capacity of the luggage compartment of 485 liters, is substantial and beyond to exceed the capacity of a D segment car, now sets a new standard in the segment C. In addition, the load floor can be raised revealing a compartment below.

2006 Honda Civic

The space reserved for port-room objects is defined by characteristics of large capacity, multi-use and improved exploitability. There is a door-objects illuminated by 14 liters, a large and capable central pocket (1 liter), the removable ashtray, a double portabibite high capacity (6.9 liters) with sliding lid (which doubles up the armrest earlier) and all four doors are equipped with space ideally suited to contain bottles (500ml) and maps (front doors).

2006 Honda Civic

Three available engines: a 1339 cc 61 hp petrol kW/83, a 1798 cc from 103 kW/140 hp gasoline and diesel 2204 cc from 103 kW/140 hp. All engines are matched to a 6-speed manual reports and this makes the Honda Civic the first car of the C segment to propose the change to 6-speed transmission for the entire range. The petrol engines can be matched to a specific exchange Honda i-SHIFT transmission with a manual 6-speed robotic.

2006 Honda Civic

All three engines make their debut in the Honda Civic range and the i-VTEC 1.8-liter engine is a completely new one. Ensure all levels of driveability, efficiency in consumption, emissions and performance that confirm the excellent reputation of a Honda engine technology advanced, and its role as the largest engine manufacturer in the world.

2006 Honda Civic

The main priorities which began developing the 1.8-liter engine were to create an engine capable of delivering higher performance at low and medium schemes and with an astonishing speed of response.

2006 Honda Civic

A system of electronically controlled DBW (drive-by-wire) ensures a high-precision control of throttle while change is the timing of the valve, ensuring great uniformity of operation and making it imperceptible to the driver of the variation in torque.

2006 Honda Civic

With an acceleration from 0 to 100 km / h in 8.6 seconds and a fuel consumption of 6.4 l/100 km (combined in the path), the 1.8-liter engine sets new expectations for all drivers who are familiar with the performance standard engine similar size available on the market today.

2006 Honda Civic

The debut of the eighth generation Honda Civic also sees the introduction diesel engine Honda 2.2 i-CTDI 140 hp at 4000 rpm and maximum torque of 340 Nm at just 2000 rpm, on a whole range. With its exceptional features in terms of performance, fuel consumption and driveability, sets a new standard in the segment. The extraordinary quality of the engine is supplemented by consumption in the combined cycle of 5.1 l/100 km.

2006 Honda Civic

Consumption amounted to 6.1 l/100 km (5.7 l/100 km for the automatic manual transmission) resulting in an output of CO2 of up to 143g/km.

2006 Honda Civic

The new speed manual 6-speed has the same structure of the previous 5-speed transmission, but the characteristics of the change has been improved thanks to a stroke of the sleeve shorter sync, It was also adopted an arm of the variable selection and a specific exchange rate, an improved clutch gears from 3rd to 6.a. At the same time, the race was reduced, the relationships are closer and the overall performance has been improved.

2006 Honda Civic

The manual transmission is also the basis of robotic manual transmission, the first in a Honda, completely new. Called "i-SHIFT", the system adopts an actuator of the clutch and change management ensures that the consumption of more fuel efficient and, of course, the driver can choose between an automatic mode that helps to provide a way of driving more relaxed and a manual mode in which the management of change becomes more sports using sequential gears.

2006 Honda Civic

The Honda system "i-SHIFT is available for petrol engines 1.4 and 1.8 liters and combines the fuel efficiency changed to sweet.

2006 Honda Civic

The stability of the steering has been further improved by optimizing the attacks and the shock bushings and the overall performance is enhanced by the sophisticated design of the shock.

2006 Honda Civic

Later, the configuration of the torsion bar is designed so as to create a virtual arm length that optimizes the position of the center roll. The suspension geometry has been calculated precisely in order to achieve excellent speed stability.

2006 Honda Civic

The electric compressor generates the best handling of the class, higher yield, lower inertia, greater rigidity, lower friction, improved controllability and reduced consumption are some of its major advantages compared to a hydraulic system.
